UNPAF Africa was officially launched and registered in Ghana at this inaugural conference.

OUR MANDATE
UNPAF Africa serves as a vital link between community grassroots and global policy, ensuring the voices of the people drive lasting change. Our work is fundamentally community-led, placing women, youth, traditional authorities, and law enforcement at the heart of our initiatives. 

By fostering collaboration between local leadership and international frameworks, we implement practical solutions that empower citizens to secure their own futures and promote regional stability in alignment with SDG 16, and AU Agenda 2063.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS & IMPACT
1.  Peacebuilding & Conflict Prevention  
    Facilitated community peace dialogues across 6 regions in Ghana, engaging traditional leaders, youth groups, and women’s organizations to prevent electoral violence and promote social cohesion.
2.  Youth & Women Empowerment  
    Trained over 2,500 young people and 800 women in leadership, entrepreneurship, and SME development through our "Ambassadors for Peace" and "Women in Governance" programs.
3.  Education & Humanitarian Relief  
    Distributed educational materials and learning support to 15+ underserved schools including Ajumako Methodist Primary, and provided emergency relief to communities affected by floods and displacement in Accra, Ghana.
4.  Global Advocacy & Partnerships  
    Represented African civil society at UN ECOSOC forums and AU ECOSOCC summits. Built partnerships with diaspora organizations, NGOs, and government agencies to advance peace and sustainable development.
5.  Policy Bridge  
    Served as technical advisors and community liaisons, translating AU Agenda 2063 and SDGs into local action plans with municipal assemblies and traditional councils.
6.  Institutional Growth  
    Expanded operations from Ghana to establish UN PEACE AMBASSADORS FOUNDATION AFRICA INC. in the United States to strengthen fundraising, partnerships, and global program delivery.

RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH US NONPROFIT CORPORATION

WHEREAS, UNPAF AFRICA LBG is a nonprofit organization duly incorporated in the Republic of Ghana under the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992), licensed by the Department of Social Welfare, and registered with the Weija-Gbawe and La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assemblies;

WHEREAS, the Foundation’s mission is to promote peace, education, humanitarian relief, and sustainable development in Africa and globally in alignment with SDG 4, SDG 16, and AU Agenda 2063;

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors recognizes the need to establish a US entity to advance fundraising, partnerships, and programs in the United States;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

1.  Formation Approved: The Foundation hereby approves the formation of a nonprofit corporation in the State of Arizona to be known as UN PEACE AMBASSADORS FOUNDATION AFRICA INC.

2.  Purpose: The US entity shall operate exclusively for charitable, educational, and peacebuilding purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and consistent with the Foundation’s mission.

3.  Authorization: Leroy Jim, serving as US President, residing in 4 miles southeast of Highway 264 at turnoff milepost 432, Steamboat, AZ 86505, is hereby authorized and empowered to:  
    a. Sign and file the Articles of Incorporation with Arizona Corporation Commission  
    b. Appoint Northwest Registered Agent, LLC as Statutory Agent in Arizona  
    c. Apply for EIN with IRS and file IRS Form 1023-EZ or Form 1023 for 501(c)(3) status  
    d. Open bank accounts and execute all documents on behalf of the US entity

4.  International Oversight: H.R.M Ambassador Nana Sultan Adamu Mohammed shall serve as International Chairman of the US Board.

RESOLVED FURTHER that the Secretary of the Foundation is directed to certify this resolution and provide copies as needed.
